This resource is an editable Canva Pro template and is designed to be used in Canva.
Create a personalized beginning of the year art project that combines process art, student photos, and simple All About Me questions.

How to Use
Students create the background by stamping paint with bubble wrap secured around a plastic cup.
After the artwork dries, call students over individually and ask the included All About Me questions. Type their answers into the editable Canva Pro template and duplicate the page for each student.
Take a photo of each child holding their hand near their mouth as if they are calling out. Upload the photo into Canva Pro and drag it directly on top of the sample photo in the template. The template is set up so the background is automatically removed and the photo is converted to black and white.
Print and cut the student photo and response strips, then arrange them so the answers fan outward from the child’s mouth across the painted background.
Why It Works
This project combines process art, conversation, and self-expression in one meaningful beginning of the year activity.
It gives teachers a simple way to learn more about each child while creating a unique classroom display using the child’s own words and personality.
