Which Gingerbread Man Is Mine?
Which Gingerbread Man Is Mine?
Quick Answer
Turn calling children up into a gingerbread listening game! Children listen to three clues, check their gingerbread, and come forward when their card matches. Use it when children are collecting stickers, picking up project supplies, choosing a prop, or taking a turn.
What’s Inside
A 16-page color printable PDF with:
24 different gingerbread character cards, four per page
24 matching teacher clue cards, four per page
A picture key for introducing candies and decorations
A character overview for easy reference
A teacher guide with step-by-step directions and a sample turn
How to Use
Print, cut apart the cards, and laminate if desired. Give each child a different gingerbread card. Keep only the corresponding teacher clue cards in your stack.
Read the clues in order: the number of buttons, the type of candy, and one more identifying detail. Children listen to all three clues before coming forward.
The child whose gingerbread matches brings you their card, then collects their item or takes their turn. Set both cards aside and continue until every child has been called.
For repeated guessing rounds, keep the cards in play and reset after each reveal. Children can swap cards between rounds for a new challenge.
