Racing Track Measurement
Racing Track Measurement
Introducing our "Racing Track Measurement" activity - a fun-filled way to teach your kids about measurement and comparison! This resource enables you to create a sizable race car measuring track. Simply print and attach the numbers to poster boards, almost like a giant measuring stick. You may need to cut between some numbers to fit them onto each poster. Using a total of three posters, you can create a smooth track by laminating each one, ensuring that cars glide smoothly.Construct a ramp using a long wooden block, placing it against a box at one end and aligning the posters at the other end, forming the track. Each student chooses a car and takes turns launching it down the ramp, while the class measures to see whose car traveled the furthest. The Racing Track Measurement activity is a unique way to blend play and learning, making the concepts of measurement and comparison enjoyable and engaging for your studentsTHESE ARE THE STANDARDS THAT WE ARE WORKING ON FOR THIS LESSON:-We can explore how things move -We can measure and compare different objects-We can put objects in order after we measure them
