Description
Alphabet Artistry: Lowercase Letters & Scissors gives children a creative way to explore lowercase letters while practicing early writing and fine motor skills.
Each activity page focuses on one lowercase letter of the alphabet. Students begin by tracing the large gray lowercase letter in the center of the page. Then they fill the surrounding space by writing, stamping, decorating, or recreating the lowercase letter multiple times using markers, stamps, or other creative materials.
After the letter practice is complete, students cut along the dotted lines around the square. This adds a simple scissor skill component while giving children a finished lowercase letter piece they can display, take home, or save as part of their alphabet work.
Use this resource during letter-of-the-week activities, alphabet review, small groups, fine motor centers, handwriting practice, art and literacy connections, or independent table work.
