Description
Color and Cut Lowercase gives children a creative way to practice lowercase letters while also working on fine motor skills.
Each page features a lowercase letter held by an animal that begins with that letter, such as a rabbit holding r or a snake holding s. Students color the letter-and-animal page, then cut along the dotted lines for a simple, hands-on alphabet activity.
The designs are made to feel engaging and approachable for preschoolers who are still building scissor control. Use the pages during letter table activities, literacy centers, fine motor practice, small groups, morning work, or send-home alphabet activities.

Why It Works
Color and Cut Lowercase combines lowercase letter recognition, initial sound practice, coloring, and cutting in one simple activity.
Children see the lowercase letter, connect it to an animal that begins with the same sound, color the picture, and practice cutting along the dotted lines. This keeps alphabet practice hands-on, visual, and developmentally appropriate.
