Description
Learning Crowns – Alphabet turns letter practice into a hands-on, wearable activity.
Each uppercase letter has its own crown page for children to color, cut, decorate, and assemble. Students can use the included band strips to create a crown that fits around their head, then add the small squares for extra decoration, letter practice, or personalization.
This resource works well for letter-of-the-week activities, alphabet review, small groups, fine motor practice, classroom celebrations, or send-home letter activities. Children get to practice recognizing uppercase letters while also building fine motor skills through coloring, cutting, pasting, and assembling.
What’s Inside
This resource includes:
132 pages
Alphabet crown pages for uppercase letters A-Z
One dedicated crown page for each uppercase letter
Band strips for assembling each crown
Small squares children can color, cut, and paste onto the crown band
Multiple pages for flexible classroom use, group activities, or individual projects
How to Use
Choose the uppercase letter crown you want students to make.
Students color and decorate the crown page.
Then they cut out the crown pieces and band strips.
Use tape or staples to attach the band strips and fit the crown around each child’s head.
Students can also color, cut, and paste the included small squares onto the band for extra decoration and letter practice.
Use the finished crowns during letter-of-the-week lessons, alphabet review, classroom celebrations, group activities, or as a fun take-home project.
Prep Tip
Print the crown pages and band strips before your activity. For younger children or students still developing scissor skills, you can pre-cut the band strips or crown pieces so they can focus on coloring, decorating, and assembling.
Physical materials such as crayons, markers, colored pencils, scissors, glue, tape, staples, stickers, or other decorating supplies are not included.
Why It Works
