Write & Deliver: Alphabet Writing Envelopes
Write & Deliver: Alphabet Writing Envelopes
Quick Answer
Bring a little mail-themed fun to letter writing! These half-page alphabet envelopes give preschoolers an uppercase and lowercase model in the stamp and a large, open space to practice writing. Print the black-and-white envelopes to send home, or laminate the colorful versions to use again and again.
What’s Inside
26 black-and-white pages covering A–Z
26 color pages covering A–Z
Two envelopes featuring the same letter on each page
Two different envelope colors on each color page
Uppercase and lowercase letter models in each stamp
Large, blank writing boxes without handwriting lines
Teacher directions and printing guide
53 pages total, including the teacher guide.
How to Use
Print the letter you’re practicing, cut the sheet in half, and add the envelopes to your letter tray or writing center. Children look at the stamp and write the uppercase letter, lowercase letter, or both.
Use the black-and-white version with pencils, crayons, or markers for a take-home activity. Laminate the color version or place it in a dry-erase sleeve for repeated practice.
Pair it with Alphabet Mail Delivery: children sort and deliver their letter cards, then write the letter on their own envelope. These larger writing pages stay on the tray and are not designed to fit through the mailbox slot. They also work as a stand-alone writing activity.
